Mark 10:46-52
People often say, "God doesn't give you more than you can handle."  But really, God doesn't give us more than He can handle.  God will meet us where we are in most need, as long as we ask.  Just like Bartimaeus, sitting on the roadside begging, all we are to do is ask in faith for God's divine help.  Bartimaeus not only had faith to ask, but he also allowed himself to be led to the side of the road, and wait for Jesus to come.  If only we were as faithful, as patient, and as devoted as Bartimaeus to trust our ills, our sorrows, our anxiety, our "whatever" to God's leading and God's intervention.  Then, and only then, our faith would be our cure.
