Mark 5:21-43
A Dead Girl and A Sick Woman
Jesus’ words:
"Daughter, your faith has healed you, Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."
"Don't be afraid; just believe."
The Random House College Dictionary
Faith - confidence or trust in a person or thing; belief that is not based of proof.
Belief - confidence in the truth or existence of something not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof.
Trust - belief in and reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc, of a person, or thing.
Would I have the strength & integrity to reach out and touch his cloak and admit I had done this amongst a crowd of people?
Knowing my daughter had died would I have gone along with Jesus in hopes my daughter would be brought back?
Examples of true faith.
Examples we must take to heart.
As I face the challenges today’s world brings, I pray that I may have the strength & integrity to act in faith. I am building my confidence and trust with each day.
